The Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician is responsible for overseeing various maintenance functions on company aircraft performed by Aircraft Maintenance Technicians, Mechanics, and Apprentices in accordance with all company policies and procedures as well as all federal aviation regulations.
Must have the ability to read, write and understand spoken and written English. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to give and receive verbal and written direction to team members.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Position requires extremely strenuous physical work involving objects in excess of 100 lbs. occasionally and in excess of 50 lbs. frequently. Employee must be able to stand for long periods.
