The thesis

Aviation maintenance is short on people.
We’re building the on-ramp.

Every year thousands of new A&P graduates walk into a job market that can’t tell them which roles they qualify for. AeroPath reads the postings, checks them against what each technician holds and is testing for, and gives employers a way to meet them before graduation.

What our own data shows

Graduates can’t see the doors that are open.

We read open maintenance postings from employer career sites and USAJOBS every day. Most never say whether a new graduate can apply — so graduates guess, and employers miss them.

Why now

What the industry reports say.

Independent forecasts agree: demand for certificated mechanics outruns supply today and for at least the next decade.

10%

projected shortfall of certificated mechanics in 2025

A shortage today

Commercial air transport demand alone outruns the certificated workforce, according to the 2025 Pipeline Report from ATEC and Oliver Wyman.

ATEC & Oliver Wyman, 2025

10,000

mechanics short in 2035, even after record graduating classes

And a decade from now

The FAA issued slightly more than 9,000 new mechanic certificates in 2024, and the gap still only narrows to 7% by 2035.

ATEC & Oliver Wyman, 2025

123,000

new technicians North America needs through 2044

Demand keeps growing

Boeing’s 2025 outlook puts global demand at 710,000 new maintenance technicians over twenty years.

What we're building

A vertical platform shaped to aviation.

Indeed and LinkedIn are horizontal. They optimize for volume, not relevance, and they don't understand the difference between an A&P and an IA. We do. Here's the operating thesis.

Credentials are load-bearing

Profiles bring reported certificates, training, and experience together. Employers can review those details and distinguish them from recorded verification checks.

Vertical beats horizontal

A&P mechanic and lead A&P are different jobs paying $40K apart. Generic job boards treat them as keyword twins. We don't.

Pay, as posted

Where an employer posts pay, we show it the way they wrote it and use it for comparisons. Where they don’t, we say so instead of guessing.

Coverage

Built for the hubs where aviation actually hires.

US maintenance capacity is extremely concentrated. A handful of cities host nearly every heavy-check bay, engine test cell, and OEM service center. We index on that geography — and the specialty profiles it creates.
