Overview
AeroPath ("we", "our") connects certified aviation maintenance technicians with employers. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Profile data you provide directly: name, contact details, FAA certification number, employment history, compensation, location preferences, and resume content.
- Usage data: pages you view, jobs you apply to, messages you send on the platform, and actions employers take on your profile.
- Technical data: browser type, IP address, and cookies needed to authenticate your session and secure the platform.
How we use your information
- Match your profile with roles that fit your credentials and goals.
- Let employers you've applied to view your profile, resume, and messages.
- Verify FAA credentials against the public Airmen Registry.
- Send you match alerts, application updates, and recruiter messages. You can opt out of non-essential emails at any time.
- Improve our matching models using anonymized, aggregated data — never your raw profile.
Who we share with
- Employers you apply to or whose roles you accept outreach from. They only see the information you've made visible.
- Service providers (hosting, analytics, email) bound by data processing agreements.
- Regulators and law enforcement when legally required, and never more than strictly necessary.
We do not sell personal information. Full stop.
Your rights
You may:
- Access, export, or delete your profile data at any time.
- Limit which employers can view your profile.
- Object to specific processing or withdraw consent where applicable.
- Request a copy of your data in machine-readable format through our contact form.
Retention
Profile data is retained while your account is active and for up to 24 months after closure, unless earlier deletion is requested. Financial records we're legally required to retain may be kept longer.
Security
AeroPath uses authenticated access and role-based permissions to restrict access to account and recruiting data. Contact us to discuss security requirements before sharing sensitive information.
